Regulatory information
Our regulators
The Institute is regulated through a combination of quality frameworks and regulatory bodies. As a higher education provider, we are regulated by the Office for Students (OfS), who oversee quality, standards, governance, financial sustainability and compliance with the Conditions of Registration. The OfS granted the Institute full degree awarding powers in 2024, you can read the report here.
The Institute also delivers a degree apprenticeship to some of our existing cohorts. Due to this, we are also subject to regulation by the Department for Education, particularly in relation to funding compliance, apprenticeship delivery rules and the use of levy funding. Ofsted also monitor the quality of degree apprenticeships and the Institute was graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2024, you can read this report here.
OfS Transparency Data 23/24 and 24/25
The information published below shows:
The number of students who attained a particular degree or other academic award, or a particular level of such an award, on completion of their course with us.
It shows these numbers by reference to:
The sex of the individual to which they relate
Their ethnicity
Their socioeconomic background
Please note that our first set of qualifying attainments were awarded during the 2024/25 academic year. Due to our small cohort numbers, and in line with Data Protection parameters specified in the raw data set from the OfS, some data has been suppressed to prevent students from being identified. While our cohort numbers are small, we are extremely proud of the achievements of all of our students.
